Summary

- 921 Smith Street (conditional-use permit for a single-family home submitted by Matthew Sasse of Green Bay Habitat for Humanity) — Commission recommended approval subject to two conditions; motion by Commissioner Darius Daniels, second by Alder Jim Hutchinson.
- 2222 Deckner Avenue / Preble High School (replace two ~56-foot poles with one 100-foot monopole; Insight/Cellcom) — Commission recommended approval with six conditions including code compliance and FCC/FAA requirements; neighbor concerns about RF, notice, fall zone, and property values were raised and the applicant said federal/state standards apply.
- 703 Wilson Avenue (covered front porch, ~198 sq ft with ~14.7 ft setback) — Commission recommended approval with standard conditions; staff reported one inquiry but no objections.
- Chapter 44 text amendments (allow animal boarding/kennel/shelter uses in downtown mixed-use districts with soundproofing and operational standards) — Commission recommended approval; staff said no public comments were received during the hearing.
All four items were moved and seconded on the record and passed on voice votes with no recorded opposition before being scheduled for City Council consideration on Aug. 18, 2026.
