Hampton Township Committee approved several administrative and operational items on June 29. The Committee accepted a one-year Provident Bank proposal with an interest rate tied to the Federal Reserve (current cited rate 3.15%) and approved three small donations/sponsorships ($350 to the Hampton Township Educational Foundation, $350 to Sussex County Crime Stoppers, and a $300 sponsorship for Sussex County Day).
Public works authorized purchase of a line-striping machine for an amount not to exceed $6,500 through the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program after the DPW manager demonstrated the unit and the CFO confirmed available funds. After executive session the Committee also adopted Resolution R2026-88 appointing Daria Delserro as part-time Clerk Typist 1 effective July 6, 2026 at $20 per hour (Mon–Thu, noon–4 p.m.).
