Cheyenne County public health ratifies maternal-child health attachment and signs preparedness contract amendment

The Cheyenne County Board of Public Health ratified two items on July 16: an attachment to a Maternal Child Health purchase order (PO FHLA YYYY*XXXX) and Contract Amendment #5 for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness grant (2027*0129 AMD #5) with the State of Colorado. Commissioner RJ Jolly moved to ratify the PO attachment, and Commissioner Rick Pelton seconded; the motion passed.
The board also approved and authorized signature on the contract amendment with the State of Colorado related to emergency preparedness funding and responsibilities. Both approvals were recorded as passed in the meeting minutes and allow staff to proceed with the contractual obligations described in those documents.
