Selectboard schedules culvert repair and discusses speed bumps, striping and other safety measures

The Weybridge Selectboard on July 1 discussed multiple near-term road repairs and traffic-calming measures after residents reported drainage and speeding concerns. The board said a culvert on Weybridge Road is failing and a contractor has proposed repair work for either July 14 or July 21; the town expects a 1–2 day road closure and plans to post notice on Front Porch Forum the Friday before work begins.
Selectboard members also reviewed options for speed bumps on Sheep Farm Road and confirmed that white bike-lane striping is planned once the contracted striping company provides a schedule. Members noted crack sealing and a third pass of roadside mowing are complete, and asked staff to check the operation of the speed sign on Morgan Horse Farm Road. Landmark Engineering provided a design for culvert changes at Otter Creek Circle to address ongoing water problems; the board said state permits are not required for the Weybridge Road culvert repair.
