At a June 10 informational meeting, Danelle Birong of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission read the official warning and statutory consultation requirements as the first step in updating Weybridge’s 2019 Town Plan. "As per 24 V.S.A. §4350, ACRPC will consult with Weybridge…," Birong said, explaining ACRPC’s role in confirming the town’s continuing planning process and implementation commitments.
Birong emphasized the timeline and resources: Weybridge has two years to review and revise its plan and staff encouraged the town to apply for a $15,000 Municipal Planning Grant in the fall; the grant would require a 10% town match and provide two years of ACRPC assistance. The public hearing concluded at about 7:35 p.m. and commissioners agreed to continue work on map edits and plan updates at future meetings.
