The Mansfield School Board of Directors on Jan. 27 approved a senior class trip to Oregon and authorized use of a school vehicle and fuel.
Presenters Joyce McGraw, Whitney Lowman and Adan Escalara asked the board to excuse participating students from school days tied to the trip and to allow the class to use the district vehicle; Ms. Jamey Jo Steele was identified as the driver. Board member Brad Murison moved to approve the request; Dusty Wittig seconded and the motion carried. The students said they will hold additional fundraisers to help cover costs.
