Main Canyon Road update: contractor meeting set; environmental work for storm pipeline underway

Troy, a project representative, told the Wallsburg Town Council that the Main Canyon Road CDBG project is progressing and that he will meet with the contractor on April 22 to finalize grinding and paving schedules. He said the sign work is complete and the town should expect to schedule physical work once contractor timing is in place.
Troy also reported the pipeline/ditch to convey storm water into Spring Creek remains in environmental review. "We expect that we will have the environmental clearance on it in the next couple weeks," he said, and added that once clearance arrives staff will prepare bid-ready plans to advertise the project this summer. He noted federal transportation programs (including TAP funds administered by UDOT) and CDBG options the town should track as they prepare later applications.
