Selectboard reappoints DRB members and names two alternates

Deborah Granquist introduced two candidates for DRB alternates and stressed the importance of alternates. Jim Linville moved to reappoint Deborah Granquist, Debra Lyneis, and Laura Katz to three-year terms and to appoint Christopher Smiles and Larry Dalziel as two-year alternates; Linda Saarnijoki seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.
The appointments were recorded in the minutes; the board indicated the alternates would help maintain quorum and continuity when regular members step down.
