The Weston Selectboard unanimously approved minutes from Feb. 25 and March 11, 2025 and signed several administrative items at its March 25 meeting.
Jim Linville moved to sign a time extension for the WRC MTAp grant; Denis Benson signed the extension, which extends the grant deadline to August 1, 2025. The board also signed the state Certification of Compliance for Town Road and Bridge Standards and accepted Payroll Warrant #6 for $10,374.37 and Vendor Warrant #6 for $35,386.85.
The Selectboard unanimously approved a motion to sign the Vermont 250th Resolution and named Howie Brosseau, Weston Historical Society President, as the town liaison. Selectboard members discussed language in the resolution that uses the word “may”; Denis Benson said the town will support the event without providing a monetary donation for planning or implementation.
Other administrative actions included authorizing each Selectboard member to use a single signature when needed and approving signatures for appointments (DVFiber and WRC representative) made at the previous meeting. Shawna Batogowski will forward the signed MTAp extension to Mike McConnell at WRC.
