At the July 20 meeting the Adams County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to award the Union 17 construction contract to Guss Construction in the amount of $447,757. The motion to award was made by Supervisor Leland Shipley and seconded by Supervisor Tony Hardisty.
The award follows Secondary Roads updates that the Union 17 project had been let last week and that pavement marking letting with the DOT was scheduled for the next day. County staff indicated ongoing coordination with DOT and the railroad on related bridge and culvert work in other projects.
