At the Jan. 20 meeting the Harvey County Board approved a batch of warrant checks totaling $344,683.98. Commissioner Don Schroeder moved to approve the batch; Commissioner Becky Reimer seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners also authorized staff to prepare and distribute warrant checks for the next week; that motion likewise passed unanimously. County Counselor Brad Jantz later noted his role under KSA 19-716 is to review warrant checks for legal correctness and that he will provide a review statement for each batch upon request.
