Guzman said three teachers are piloting I-Ready as a new test measurement for next year because it offers immediate interventions for identified learning gaps. She also described two years of staff professional development on classroom uses of artificial intelligence and said the district plans to "demystify" AI for students by teaching responsible use; "to ensure the WA state academic standards are being taught and learned," Guzman said. The principal noted existing policies on cheating, plagiarism and misuse of technology will be used to govern classroom practice.
The Leadership Team is developing a new Schoolwide plan, compiling programs in an "at-a-glance" format to guide future grants and programming.
