Linn County Public Health staff reported March 31 that Swales Custom Precast confirmations of septic tank deliveries in Jones County are in compliance. Matt Dobler told the Board that, based on delivered confirmations, no further action is needed for those deliveries.
Dobler said he is working with the owner of the property at 20057 72nd Street to bring the septic system into compliance by July 1. He also reported that Jones County Public Health sent a letter to the City of Anamosa regarding a septic violation at 507 S. Linn Street and that he will contact the County Attorney again to follow up on that case.
The board did not take formal enforcement votes at the March 31 meeting; members recorded updates and instructed staff to continue follow-up with property owners and legal counsel as needed.
