Chair said she walked downtown Bridgewater and photographed conditions she called concerning, noting that “the crosswalks are very faded and worn looking” and that some had “totally faded.” She told members she would send the photos to Josh and urged the town to prioritize repairs.
The Chair said the worst sidewalk damage was in front of the academy building and at the driveway to the Bridgewater Trophy Shop, and described a hole in the sidewalk at that driveway. Committee members recalled recent crosswalk repainting near the college and suggested the town could expand striping and flashing-light work in Central Square as funds become available. The meeting record shows the town manager has identified funds for line painting and striping downtown.
