Chair Jeff Beckwith reported the last two cabin roofs at Rock Creek need replacement and quoted $7,623 to replace both. Brian Grell moved to replace both roofs and Karen Bradway seconded; the motion carried, with Jeff Beckwith recorded as abstaining.
On the Rock Creek Eco Center deck, Jeff Beckwith said roughly 50 percent of the 840 joist hangers (about 420 hangers) need replacement at an estimated cost of $39 per hanger including labor. Beckwith suggested selling the existing hangers to the Conservation Board and using conservation staff for replacement. The board decided to table further action on the joist hangers until the next meeting.
