Conservation staff presented an administrative update showing they compiled reservation and program attendance numbers from MyCountyParks. Naturalists reported heavy activity: in‑school programs have shifted toward field trips, Star Lab pop‑ups ran successfully, a new education trailer is completed, and Spring Fling drew good attendance over the past weekend.
Phil (Philip Visser) said staff also prepared for an upcoming Trivia night at Rock Creek hosted by Friends of Rock Creek. The staffing pattern for seasonal positions was discussed: several seasonal hires and a few concession positions have started, with some maintenance workers beginning later in spring.
