Board approves routine items, sets 2026 exam and meeting dates and adjourns

Vice President Joseph Foley moved to approve the meeting agenda, the Aug. 3, 2025 minutes, and the 1st quarter 2025/2026 financial report; each motion was seconded by Ihsan Azzam and approved by the board. The board then adopted 2026 exam dates (Jan. 4; Feb. 1; Mar. 1; Apr. 12; May 3; Jun. 7; Jul. 12; Aug. 2; Sep. 13; Oct. 4; Nov. 1; Dec. 6) and board meeting dates (Feb. 1; May 3; Aug. 2; Nov. 1). "So moved to accept the dates," Joseph Foley said before the board voted to finalize the schedule.
Mr. Foley also moved that several agenda items (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 21) be denied in the absence of their proponents but left open the option for repetition; the motion passed. The meeting adjourned at 5:36 P.M.
