At the July 28 meeting the Board of Selectmen handled routine governance actions and a handful of administrative items. Chair moved to approve the minutes (the board approved with Scott abstaining), and the board approved a DECD resolution so the Chair could sign required paperwork.
The board also approved a motion regarding a possible release of an encroachment permit bond for 51 Atlantic Drive. Chair moved to adjourn and the meeting was adjourned by voice vote. Separately, the DEEP Seabrook Point match of $91,660 was referred to the Board of Finance and will go to a town meeting for final appropriation; that referral was not a final appropriation vote.
These items were procedural and required either follow-up by finance staff (for the DEEP match) or standard documentation and signature by the Chair for the DECD resolution and bond release.
