EDC manager Selena Tittle told the board that the downtown branding survey closed and that the project consultant, Eisenberg, will present results at a public meeting scheduled at the community library. "Eisenberg will be here. That is our project partner, and they will be, just kind of giving the opportunity for people to hear what the results are," Tittle said.
Tittle said Eisenberg will return on July 15 to present the marketing map informed by public feedback and that both the consultant and staff will present materials to the city council on July 28. She emphasized that the committee selected three logo/tagline options and that public feedback will determine whether the team pauses, pivots, tweaks, or replaces those options.
A board member raised concerns that several residents on Facebook thought the city's name was not prominent in the three options and asked if the options were final. A staff member responded that no decision has been made and described the upcoming public meeting as the intended forum to gather feedback that the committee will use to decide next steps.
