EDC staff reported the incentive relates to the first restaurant user at the Alexander Village site and said staff will keep the board updated on next steps. EDC staff stated, “Keep you updated on the next steps as a part of this development.” The Chair added, “Please do, because I believe these two board members are really gonna keep y’all on y’all toes.”
The board’s action follows the public notice of the project locations and an executive-session discussion under the Texas Government Code provision cited in the meeting agenda. No public comments were received during the public hearing component of the agenda item.
Next steps: staff indicated it will return with executed documents and implementation details; the board did not set an immediate effective date in the public portion of the meeting.
