The board discussed the open Clinton/Jackson ECI director position and possible alternatives to hiring a standalone director. The position is being advertised; board members also considered forming a partnership with neighboring ECI areas to share a director.
Amy Grunewaldt, Linn County ECI Director and ECI Association President, presented a PowerPoint on the future of ECI and how a partnership could be beneficial. Abbey Degenhardt (Dubuque ECI Director) and Sherri Hunt (Cedar/Jones ECI Director) told the board their respective boards would be open to sharing a director. The minutes record that the three ECI areas will compile information and the Clinton/Jackson Executive Committee will meet with their counterparts in early May to explore options further.
