Big Stone County staff say redetermination will cost $3.95 per analyzed acre; new benefit roll to be used for billing

Roggenbuck told the meeting that "the price will be $3.95 per analyzed acre and all redetermination costs will need to be billed out using the new redetermined benefit roll." That statement establishes both the consultant rate and the county’s intended mechanism for assigning costs to benefited parcels, rather than charging from the prior benefit roll.
The announcement followed a brief informational presentation by the consulting firm H2Overviewers and preceded a question-and-answer period with landowners. No formal motion or vote on adoption of a redetermined roll was taken at the meeting. The board adjourned at 11:45 AM.
