Clerk/Treasurer Amy Myhre told the council that the Department of Commerce sent a draft of the official response to Beaux Arts Village’s Comprehensive Plan on June 2, 2026 and that a final version should arrive that week. The minutes say staff will meet to determine a plan of action for the response and that the Planning Commission will begin work once the final letter is received.
Council identified the Department of Commerce review under the Housing Accountability Act as a continuing compliance task; the town will hold a public hearing in July on the 2027–2032 CIP/TIP before taking final action by ordinance. No specific revisions or deadlines from Commerce were recorded in the minutes.
