Williamstown Cemetery Commission adopts $59,873.20 budget for 2025–2026

The Williamstown Cemetery Commission voted on Oct. 24 to adopt its proposed 2025–2026 budget of $59,873.20. Chair Matt Couillard presented the proposed figure; Matt Walker moved to accept the budget as written and Daphne Herwig seconded. The motion passed unanimously and the commission directed that a copy be given to the Town Manager.
Commissioners reviewed a Budget Status Report dated Oct. 22, 2024 and discussed current warrants and recent payouts totaling $7,355, including a $5,125 mowing invoice, marker installations, and burial charges. The minutes also record a single burial income of $500 for S. Bailey during the period under review.
