During New Business commissioners discussed several tree issues and a property-owner complaint. Matt Couillard reported an ash tree growing around two family stones in West Hill and raised a question from neighbor Greg Lancey about responsibility for cleaning tree branches on his side of a driveway. Susan Lyons said she received a complaint from a landowner at the Henry Road turnaround: "They are driving over her lawn and ran over and broke one of their markers. Not happy." Joe Mangan said he would speak with his crew to address the lawn and marker damage.
Commissioners also photographed and tagged two locust trees in the Village Cemetery for removal and discussed trimming maple branches by the flagpole, with plans to seek quotes for tree removal and coordinate cutting with road/hill work where practical.
