The Planning Board reviewed a cursory proposal from the owner of K & J Accessories to replace the existing scoreboard at Roxbury High School with a Watchfire LED scoreboard of comparable size. The applicant said the existing scoreboard is about 30 years old and the proposed replacement would be moved roughly 15 feet to improve sightlines from the press box; the proposal includes no digital advertising or video display.
The Planning Board indicated it had no objections to the proposed replacement and Chairman Charles Bautz advised the applicant to obtain a zoning permit through the Planning and Zoning Office (applications may be submitted online). No formal Board action was required for the cursory review.
