Mr. Feeley summarized the consent-decree terms: payment of a $1,000 fine within 30 days with no grace period; establishment permit suspension if payment is not made; and the respondent’s agreement to be financially responsible for monitoring costs. Lauren Guido, the current managing funeral director (who was not the manager at the time of the incident), was present to answer Board questions and the Board had none.
The Board approved the consent decree unanimously and directed staff to monitor compliance. The order stipulates that failure to pay within 30 days will result in immediate permit suspension and reporting to appropriate agencies.
