"Checking with Ryan, checking with our reports to EPA, as far as usage of any chemicals, they don't," Schomer said, and staff recommended renewing the lease to maintain a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Council discussed roadside visibility where high weeds along nearby ditches were raised as a concern by a council member; staff said city crews do periodic mowing and that the intersection should be monitored. The lease renewal was moved, seconded and adopted.
