Friends group launches fundraiser to add shade at Bedford animal shelter

"All it takes is $20 to purchase a ticket using our QR code," the councilmember said, describing ticket pricing and two showtimes at Old Bedford School. Sponsors listed by the council included HEB, NBT Financial Bank, Camp Bedford, Texas Trust Credit Union and local veterinary practices; councilmembers encouraged residents to attend and consider adoption opportunities at the event.
