Clinton County Board of Review names officers, adopts rules to organize 2026 session

The Clinton County Board of Review met May 1, 2026 in the Clinton County Administration Building to organize its 2026 session and appointed officers for the term. Dean Holst was named chairperson after a motion by Lee Barber that carried; Leisha Goettsch was named vice-chairperson; and Deb Ketelsen was named clerk. Board members present were Goettsch, Barber, Ketelsen, Holst and Adam Edstrom; County Assessor Brian Tiesman and Chief Deputy Ryan Knight also attended.
The board reviewed and adopted its rules of procedure for the 2026 session, voting to approve them on a motion by Goettsch, seconded by Barber. The minutes note that the rules will be attached to the official record. The meeting was called under Iowa Code section 441.33, the statute cited as the legal basis for organizing the local board of review. The board recessed at 11:15 AM and scheduled follow-up meetings to complete outstanding business.
