Chairman Charles Bautz announced Ms. Medina Ferrara’s full-time municipal appointment and the Board moved to formalize the appointment. Councilman Jim Rilee moved the resolution and Councilman Robert DeFillippo seconded; the motion carried and the Board memorialized the action in a written resolution certified by Board Secretary Robyn Lance.
The resolution cites the Municipal Land Use Law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-24) to authorize the appointment and references N.J.S.A. 40:55D-53.2 as the authority to bill applicants for the reasonable costs of professional review. The resolution took effect immediately upon adoption. The appointment transfers planner duties to a municipal employee and sets the hourly billing rate for application review through the end of 2026.
