The council approved an updated agreement between the City of Cody and the Park County Pedalers that shifts focus from construction to long-term maintenance of the Beck Lake bike park.
Philip Bowman told the council the original July 2016 agreement covered construction and development and has now expired; because construction is complete, the revised agreement focuses on maintenance and repairs. Bowman said the new term would run through July 2036 with provisions for two-year extensions afterward. The agreement has been reviewed by the city attorney and signed by the Pedalers.
Council moved and approved the measure by voice vote. Staff said they are available to answer any follow-up questions as the agreement is implemented.
