The council approved the first reading of Ordinance 2026-08, a clerical correction to the contractor-licensing section of the City of Cody Code.
Staff said the building official discovered that certain contractor-license tables were inadvertently removed during a prior update and that the current ordinance would restore those tables. “They were inadvertently removed…so that is all we’re doing, cleanup item, putting those tables back in contractor specialty table,” a staff presentation said. Council had no questions and approved the first reading by motion and voice vote.
Staff indicated the change is corrective in nature and intended to restore previously adopted contractor-license tables; no fee changes, policy expansions, or public hearing outcomes were reported at the meeting.
