The Planning and Zoning Commission welcomed a newly seated commissioner, identified in the meeting as Britney, during its June 16 session.
Britney said she has been a Cedar Park resident for almost three decades and described her professional role: "I serve as COO for the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce representing a 5 count[y] county region across Central Texas," she said, and added she looks forward to serving the community on the commission. Commissioners and staff offered welcomes and thanks for volunteering time to serve; remarks included thanks to staff and an invitation for the community to attend the city's Fourth of July celebration at Millburn Park.
