Economic development staff says Cedar Park continues to attract new investment and retail tenants

He highlighted retail activity at the Cedar View development and said a restaurant concept called Haywire (FD Society) has finalized a lease and is expected to open in Cedar Park. Arthur described outreach and recruitment efforts with developers and brokers — noting CLD Realty and Jennifer Petrovich as retail representatives — and praised staff for bringing new prospects to the city.
Arthur also summarized recent trade-mission work: SelectUSA representation and a trip to the Silicon Valley Tech Summit where staff met companies in aerospace, defense, AI, semiconductors, and robotics. He said those visits generated about 13 new preliminary projects for follow-up.
Board members congratulated staff; no formal action was required on the presentation.
