Arthur described meeting a site‑selector and later a company representative familiar with Cedar Park and the Austin area; he said staff connected that firm with local developers and that the city was close to signing a letter of intent for a SCIF tied to the planned development. "We should absolutely partner with this company if we move forward with a SCIF as part of that development," Arthur said, noting positive reconnaissance feedback from staff and regional partners.
