Council forwards $50,800 HLA task order for new police station site evaluation to regular meeting

The scope described in the packet includes project management, topographic survey, geotechnical study, site evaluation and preliminary design, and environmental and cultural review with an estimated fee of $50,800.
Staff said the work would support a future building with secure parking, a sally port and access drives and is funded through a state appropriation award. On motion by Councilmember Bill Moore, second by Councilmember Laura Flores, the task order resolution was moved to the regular meeting for formal consideration; recorded votes were Yes by Diaz, Flores, Garibay-Rios, Moore, Rodriguez and Souders; Ozuna was listed as absent.
