At its July 14 meeting the Cedar Hill City Council approved its consent agenda (items A–H) by unanimous vote.
Major items on the consent agenda included authorization for the mayor to sign a no‑cost agreement with the University of Texas at Austin Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) for cybersecurity services; a construction contract with West Texas Rebar Placers Inc. not to exceed $160,919.50 for the Capricorn Street drainage improvements project; and a construction contract with Stoic Silver Construction, Inc. not to exceed $1,834,250 for Robin Road drainage improvements and Summit Place repair. Council also approved a five‑year amendment with Tyler Technologies for permitting and land‑management software.
Councilwoman Azeem moved approval of consent items A through H and the motion passed unanimously. City staff will execute the contracts and proceed with the procurement and project scheduling steps described in the agenda packet.
