District facilities work is nearly complete for the summer, the superintendent told the board. He said roof work has been completed and passed inspection; flooring is finished except for maroon trim in the commons area; window replacement is nearly done (three rooms remained earlier in the morning); and interior painting and roller-blind installation will follow once trim work is complete. He added that concrete work is nearly finished and that the district scheduled Warroad Cleaning for a move-in clean the weekend of August 22 to prepare for teachers returning.
On the consent agenda, the board approved Resolution 2026–2027-01 adopting the facilities maintenance plan. The motion passed by voice vote. The facilities update and plan approval close the summer construction items to date; the superintendent asked the board to note remaining punch-list items and the cleaning schedule prior to staff occupancy.
