Resident urges investigation into repeated fires at Fiber Global warehouse

During general public comment resident David Wyant asked the board to conduct a public safety review and investigation into repeated fires at a company he identified as Fiber Global. Wyant said the current incident was the third at that warehouse in less than six months and raised concerns about operational safety, hazardous materials handling, and the adequacy of corrective actions taken to date.
"These repeated fires at a single industrial facility raised concerns for their operational safety, fire and compliance, hazardous materials handling, safety protocols, and the adequacy of the corrective actions," Wyant said, asking that any investigation findings be made public to restore trust in fire safety enforcement. He suggested leveraging insurers, the landlord's insurance, the state fire marshal and other assets as needed.
Chair thanked the speaker but the board did not record any motion, directive or scheduled follow-up during the meeting. A second resident (Murphy) then asked whether a water pipe project to Lebanon would cross department property near 650 North and 1000 East; the chair acknowledged the question but no formal action was taken on that item during the meeting.
