Board authorizes disposal of three nonfunctional MSA thermal cameras and old camera system

The Fire Territory Board approved disposing of three MSA 6000 thermal imaging cameras and the outdated ProVision camera apparatus after staff said the items no longer function and serial numbers were worn off. Harder said the cameras "won't turn on" and the camera system used old SD cards and was cumbersome to retrieve data.
A board member moved to dispose of the equipment through appropriate channels and a second was recorded; the motion passed by voice vote. Harder said there is no reasonable resale value and the items will be retired from inventory.
