Board approves conveyance of industrial‑park sewer easements to HRSD

Stuart Hall, representing Public Works and Facilities, told the Accomack County Board that the item before the board concerns transfer of easements in the industrial park to the Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) under a previously approved conveyance agreement.
Hall described the easements as small, typically a 15‑foot strip alongside VDOT rights‑of‑way inside the park and a small easement at the park entrance near Route 13. "This specific item relates to the easements within the industrial park... generally consist of a 15 foot area along the side of the VDOT right of way of the roads inside the park," he said.
The board opened the public hearing, received no public speakers, and then moved to approve the assignment and assumption for conveyance of sewer lines and industrial park easements to HRSD; the motion carried on a voice vote.
