The Amarillo Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved Plat 2026-125, PCWC Enterprises Unit 3, on July 6, paving the way for a Racetrack-branded truck stop and convenience store near Interstate 40 and Lakeside Drive. Staff recommended approval conditional on corrected originals and completion of or surety for required public infrastructure improvements, including a noted water-main extension.
Planning staff member Brady said the plat "had associated public infrastructure improvements" and that staff found the submission could conform to subdivision standards once the surety or construction of improvements and corrected originals are provided. Commissioners asked no substantive follow-up questions and the motion to approve carried unanimously.
