The Amarillo Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved Plat 2026-128-P, Quail Creek Edition Unit 41, at its July 6 meeting, allowing two undeveloped residential lots to be combined into a single buildable lot for a new home. Planning staff recommended approval with the condition that corrected originals for the plat be submitted before final processing.
Planning staff member Brady told commissioners the replat had been reviewed by the city and by external utility providers and "was found to conform with the subdivision ordinance and other development standards except for corrected originals not yet being received." No members of the public spoke for or against the plat during the hearing. Commissioner Josh moved to approve the request "as staff recommended pending the return of the [corrected originals]," and the motion carried unanimously.
