Price acknowledged resistance from some water system managers who are concerned about security and the public availability of critical infrastructure maps. He proposed face-to-face meetings with water board managers and limited sharing agreements to reassure partners; he said some systems already have sharing agreements in place.
Next steps: the commission was asked to approve the MOU pending attorney review and to authorize outreach to water system boards to secure participation and data-sharing agreements.
