He said staff will explore Texas Parks and Wildlife grant opportunities and possible partnerships to stretch the Type B funds; if a grant is awarded next spring, that could reduce the local funding need.
Board members asked about phasing options and whether the volleyball courts should be included; DeVito said staff would evaluate scope and potential to phase work across years. He also noted parking and programming considerations and said any leftover funds would be considered for additional amenities such as Millburn Park volleyball improvements.
