The town has a 30-day inspection period to conduct due diligence and a limited reimbursement clause of $35,000 should Lennar fail to transfer title after the town incurs proven expenses.
Kathy Dillon summarized: "There's no cost to the town... Lennar is responsible for all of the costs including commitments, surveys, phase 1 environmental reports, and closing fees. The town has a 30 inspection to do their due diligence and conduct environmental testing and soil testing." The council moved and passed the resolution during the meeting.
