Weekley also said VDOT obtained the last landowner permission needed for the swinging bridge on Lindsay Lane and that demolition should occur in the next few months. On safety, Weekley described a ride-along with VDOT to review high‑concern intersections along the Hoover Road corridor; VDOT will review courthouse plats to determine whether additional right‑of‑way is required and may contact landowners if fences or banks need adjustment.
