The Forney City Commission approved a final plat for the Fox Hollow Commercial Plaza addition, a multi-tenant retail development north of FM 741 and west of Monitor Boulevard. Staff said the plat meets subdivision requirements under the Texas Local Government Code and recommended approval.
During questions, staff identified O'Reilly's as one confirmed tenant and said a Starbucks location is included in the multi-tenant center; staff confirmed the design includes a drive-through. A commissioner noted the underlying zoning is Neighborhood Service, appropriate for retail and office uses. After discussion a motion to approve carried by voice vote.
Staff will continue standard post-approval work and developers will proceed with tenant leasing and construction planning as allowed under the approved plat.
