At the end of the meeting staff reminded board members of a board‑and‑commission celebration scheduled for Monday, June 8, and proposed recurring training sessions to review variance criteria and administrative appeals. The training would be a public meeting and include hypotheticals and best‑practice discussion, staff said. "We would put a presentation together for you all and then just have some time," staff told the board.
Board members said they were open to training during a night with a light agenda, and staff agreed to follow up on scheduling. With no further business the Chair adjourned the meeting.
